let's make one thing perfectly clear from the start. I do not like keyword tools. I think there's a lot of junk out there. I only like the truth, and ...

Let's be frank. That's all that really matters. How we do this, it often does not matter. Sadly,

So, ... I looked, and looked, and kept looking... But all I found were junk tools, that did not deliver any added value to my quest for the online gold mine. Until, ...

But first, let me tell you why you should even bother to read my story. And why the hell do I bother to inform you?

I'm an affiliate marketer and spend close to $200 a day on Google Adwords (which on average gives me a return of $1000). I use clickbank products, but also CJ, MaxBounty and many other affiliate networks. I tend manually pick the ones that I will be promoting. Of late, my internet affiliate marketing projects have become of such a magnitude that it's nearly impossible to continue doing it all by hand.

At that time, naturally, I had already heared of several keyword tools that made it easier to find good keywords to place my adwords on. However, still keyword tools never caught my favor. I tried them, and found many not even worth a second look. I got disillusioned. I still continued doing by hand. Hell, I even wrote a few programs for myself to faciliate finding keywords and managing them!

So that was my mindset when I got an email from a very good friend of mine recommending the Keyword Elite Tool. I must confess, it was only because I knew that he made a good deal of money online that I even clicked on it.

His income had jumped $800 in a single week! He assured me to drop everything I was doing, and go and buy that piece of software. So, I hestitately followed his advice. I must confess that at that point, I thought: "what a waste of money".

Well, having downloaded it, I already started doing other things. Until my friend really started pestering the hell out of me to start using the tool.

So, I decided to give it a try and I sat down for an hour to try and play with the software...

1. Create a keyword List
   enter a keyword or keyphrase and Keyword Elite will throw up as many related keywords as you want from half a dozen sources - in fact, this one project can throw up to 10,000 keywords in one go. Deadly in the right hands, completely useless in the wrong ones.
2. Analyze Pay Per Click listings
   enter one or more keywords, and KE will tell you how much your competitors are paying per click, how many ads are running, which ads are showing, how profitable the terms are, and various other factors... across five search engines (including Google and Yahoo of course). 3. Select a keyword list
   KE also comes pre-loaded with tens of thousands of keyword lists; just enter one of your keyword terms, and watch KE pull up a pre-made, plug-in-and-profit list
4. Analyze Keyword Competition
   a bonus project which quickly shows you how hard it is going to be to rank for a specific term in the search engines. Not exhaustive, but - if you get traffic from the search engines - very helpful.
5. Spy on Adwords Competition
   KE also allows you to spy on your Adwords competitors; if one guy is running an ad, day in, day out... then they are making money from it. Sneaky little feature that makes sure you don't waste money on terms that have high turnover. But this one should be used selectively...

And, by the time I got my head around it, I needed a rest. But, I quickly focused in on the features that would work for me, and within a few days I started taking KE to my existing campaigns, and using it to generate new ones... Let me put it this way.
The results were.... interesting.

While I haven't changed my tune regarding keyword tools in general, KE opens a wealth of possibilities that enable you to improve existing projects, and speed-launch new campaigns.
